Overview

At Zebra, I led research efforts for a major redesign of a label printer setup experience. The setup experience included the printer unboxing, mobile app setup, and printing the first label. The project took 1 month to complete.

Outcomes

• Shortened setup times by 50% by prioritizing the need for social logins

• The creation of a desktop setup experience was prioritized as a result of research findings

• Home screen hierarchy was flattened to improve visibility of key functionality

What I Did

• Led usability tests with 22 participants

• Conducted content analysis of 200+ customer reviews

• Co-led a design sprint to re-imagine the setup experience
